not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)
One of the greatest needs today among Christians is to have a better and more thorough knowledge and understanding of
God’s Word, to be able to "Rightly divide the Word of truth." This is essential to our own spiritual
growth and to be better equipped to minister to others. The Word also enables us to resist sin. As the Psalmist
said, "Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee." (Psalm 119:11). It will also prepare
us to quickly detect error and false teaching that is so prevalent today.
In our busy society many have difficulty finding time to devote
to serious Bible study. Work, home, school, athletics, etc. demand so much of our time. However, in most cases
it boils down to the matter of priorities.
Studying God’s Word should not be a burdensome task, but an enjoyable experience, trusting the Holy Spirit to shed
light upon these glorious truths. Our purpose at Assembly Tape-CD Library is to make available tapes or CDs of good
sound Bible preaching and teaching to assist those who are interested in spiritual growth. Our prayer is that these
tapes and CDs will enable each listener to become more knowledgeable in the Word and better equipped to live for and serve
the Lord.
